PSA Dagger Models at a Glance
PSA Daggers come in three main size categories: Micro, Compact, and Full Size. Each follows a different Glock pattern and is built around specific magazine sizes, slide groups, and accessory compatibility. While most owners know which Dagger they have, confusion usually comes from what actually interchanges between models and what doesn’t. This page breaks down the real differences between PSA Dagger variants so you can understand how parts, slides, and accessories overlap without overthinking it.
Micro
The Micro models are the smallest Daggers. They are slim, lightweight, and designed for concealability. The Micro uses its own magazines, slide size, and rail system, and should always be treated as a separate platform from the Compact and Full Size models. If it’s a Micro, assume Compact and Full Size advice does not apply unless explicitly stated.
Compact
The Compact models are the most common PSA Daggers. They follow the Glock 19 Gen 3 pattern and represent the “standard” Dagger configuration. Most aftermarket parts, guides, and accessories are based around this size.
Full Size
The Full Size models use a longer grip and higher-capacity magazines than the Compact, but share the same slide ecosystem and accessory behavior. For most upgrades, Full Size and Compact Daggers behave the same.
Slides and Frames: What Actually Interchanges
All PSA Dagger slides fall into two size groups:
- Compact / Full Size slides
- Micro slides
There is no crossover between these two groups.Compact & Full Size Slides (Shared Slide Group)
All PSA Dagger slides made for the Compact and Full Size platforms share the same basic slide dimensions and interchange freely between Compact and Full Size frames.
What this means in practice:
- Any PSA Dagger slide listed for Compact / Full Size will fit:
- A Compact frame
- A Full Size frame
- The difference between Compact and Full Size is the grip and magazine, not the slide
- Slide length options do not change basic compatibility within this group
For most owners, this removes a lot of confusion: there is no separate “Compact slide” versus “Full Size slide” category. If it’s a PSA Compact/Full Size slide, it fits both.
Within the Compact / Full Size slide group, PSA has also offered a Compact C1 variant.

- Built-in compensator integrated into the slide design
- Uses the same Compact / Full Size slide dimensions
- Fits both Compact and Full Size frames
- Treated as a variant, not a separate platform
As of this writing, the Compact C1 slide is not currently available, but it is expected to return in the future. When available, it should be considered part of the standard Compact / Full Size slide ecosystem.
Micro Slides (Separate Slide Group)
Micro slides are a different size and do not interchange with Compact or Full Size frames.
Key points:
- Micro slides only fit Micro frames
- Compact / Full Size slides do not fit Micro frames
- Micro slides should always be treated as their own category
If your Dagger uses Micro magazines, you must stay within the Micro slide group.
Micro C1 Slide (Compensated Variant)
The Micro platform also includes a Micro C1 variant.
Key points:
- Built-in compensator design
- Sized specifically for the Micro platform
- Fits Micro frames only
- Does not interchange with Compact or Full Size frames
Like the standard Micro slide, the Micro C1 is part of the Micro-only slide ecosystem.

- Compact & Full Size Daggers share one slide ecosystem
- Micro Daggers use a separate slide ecosystem
- C1 slides are variants within their respective ecosystems, not new platforms
